Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) are gender-specific groups of 3-5 people who meet weekly for deep, biblical discipleship. D-Groups provide believers with a framework for fulfilling the Great Commission through discipleship (Matt. 28:18-29).

Every member of a discipleship group will be challenged to grow in these four areas: spiritual disciplines, personal holiness, meaningful accountability, and deep discipleship.

What to Expect

  • Each group member agrees to the expectations of involvement at the outset.
  • D-Groups are comprised of believers who disciple one another. This means D-Groups will have a leader who organizes the group, but each member is active in weekly discipleship.
  • D-Groups are accountable relationships with a small group of men or women.
  • D-Groups multiply annually to fulfill the Great Commission. This is an essential component of D-Groups, releasing disciples to make more disciples.
  • D-Group leaders must be members of Ignite Church.
