Chase Selcer

I met my wife Ashtyn while serving together on a mission trip to the inner city of Chicago. We were married in June of 2017 and that same year I came on staff here at Ignite Church. My philosophy of ministry is simple: teach the Bible clearly (Titus 1:9) and shepherd the flock faithfully (1 Peter 5:2). I can think of no greater task—I love what I get to do! I also enjoy reading theology (no surprise!) and history (Candace Millard and Erik Larson are two of my favorite authors) as well as running and cycling. In the winters, my wife and I enjoy spending evenings in front of our wood burning fireplace.
